Genk preview: Eyeing their third consecutive victory

Genk are now one step away from reaching the Europa League for the first time in four years after last week's 5-1 humbling of Lech Poznan.

Despite having a comfortable lead in this tie, De Smurfen had their weekend game against Charleroi waived off to give them enough rest and time to prepare for this return leg.

Manager Thorsten Fink could still be without Andi Zeqiri due to an ankle injury, while Daan Heymans remains ruled out until next month.

Hyun-gyu Oh has started all of De Smurfen’s five games so far this season in all competitions, but considering Genk's four-goal advantage, we expect the Korean forward to be rested for last season's top scorer Tolu Arokodare, who has not started any game for Genk this season with transfer speculation surrounding the Nigerian.

Predicted lineup: Lawal (GK), El Ouahdi, Sadick, Smers, Kayembe, Bangoura, Heynen, Steuckers, Hrosovsky, Sor & Arokodare.

Lech Poznan preview: Hoping to halt their winless streak

Reigning Polish champions Lech Poznan are on the brink of UEFA Europa League qualification exit to Genk for a second time, having lost to the Belgian outfit back in August 2018.

While there are no fresh injury concerns for Kolejorz going into this matchup, Radoslaw Murawski, Daniel Hakans and Patrik Walemark are all unavailable due to health problems.

The odds are stacked against Lech on the road, but having rested enough with their weekend game also postponed for this crucial fixture, they will lock horns with Genk with hopes of a miraculous night at Cegeka Arena.

Predicted lineup: Mrozek (GK), Pereira, Skrzypczak, Gurgul, Moutinho, Thordarson, Kozubal, Palma, Jagiello, Lisman & Ishak.
