🔥 Our Hot tip

Both teams to score

Barcelona are favourites after scoring five goals against Feyenoord in their Champions League opener and continuing their strong domestic form. However, they also leave a lot of spaces at the back to be exploited and a loud RAMS Park will push Galatasaray to a goal.

Galatasaray welcome Barcelona to RAMS Park on Tuesday night for their second fixture in the 2026-27 Champions League league phase.

The Turkish champions are looking to recover from an opening-day defeat away at Sporting Lisbon, while the Catalans, who are firm favourites for the clash, will look to build on their 5-1 win over Feyenoord, a match you can back using the latest Bet365 welcome offer.

Galatasaray head into this contest needing a response after their European campaign began with defeat in Portugal.

Okan Buruk's side took the lead against Sporting CP through an own goal, but they were unable to hold on and eventually lost 3-1, and that result leaves them with work to do in the league phase, making Tuesday's home fixture an important opportunity to collect points.

Their domestic results have been mixed, although the latest performance offered encouragement. Galatasaray beat Kasimpasa 3-1, having previously suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat away to Trabzonspor.

RAMS Park could provide a significant boost for the Turkish champions who will be keen to put Barcelona under pressure early and make the most of their home support, particularly if they can force the visitors into uncomfortable defensive situations.

However, committing too many players forward could leave space for Barcelona to exploit on the counter-attack, and Galatasaray have kept only two clean sheets so far this season.

Barcelona, meanwhile, have started the campaign in impressive fashion, and Hansi Flick's side opened their Champions League schedule with a 5-1 win over Feyenoor, following that with a run of productive performances in La Liga.

Their latest result was a 3-0 victory over Getafe, with Anthony Gordon, Gabriel Jesus and Jules Kounde finding the net. The win took Barcelona to eight victories from eight league matches.

The visitors have demonstrated that they can score in different ways, and their attacking movement could pose problems for a Galatasaray defence that conceded three times against Sporting.

Victor Osimhen's fitness and readiness to start are worth monitoring following his recent return from an adductor problem. Any selection decision will be important for a home side that needs a reliable focal point in attack.

Barcelona will also be encouraged by their recent record against the Turkish side, having won 2-1 in Istanbul in their last meeting in March 2022, although that match was in the Europa League rather than the Champions League.

Galatasaray should have enough attacking threat to make the contest competitive, especially with home advantage, but Barcelona's current form makes them difficult to oppose.

The visitors head into this game without in-form Raphinha who is recovering from an injury, but they possess enough firepower to cope without him as they have shown against Getafe.

Andreas Christensen and Roony Bardghji have also been listed as sidelined, while Frenkie de Jong's availability remains uncertain as he works towards a return.

Whispers predicts: Galatasaray 1-3 Barcelona

Barcelona have the stronger recent record and are priced accordingly, with an away win available at 1.32 (1/3).

However, Galatasaray should not be written off at home and should have enough to score goals, making both teams to score at 1.42 (2/5) a good pick, while over 2.5 goals is available at 1.21 (1/5).

A 3-1 away victory is the predicted score, and that is priced at 10.25 (37/4). Barcelona have enough attacking quality to take control, but Galatasaray's home support and goalscoring form could help them get on the scoresheet.
