Fiorentina preview: Eased past Juve
Fiorentina put in a top-class performance in their final game before the international break at home against Juventus.
Two goals inside the opening 18 minutes from Robin Gosens and Rolando Mandragora saw the hosts lead 2-0 at the break and early in the second half, Albert Guomundsson made it 3-0 and ended any faint hopes of a Juventus comeback.
Michael Kayode is the major injury concern for Fiorentina this weekend. The defender isn't expected back in action until next month.
Predicted lineup: de Gea (GK), Marí, Gosens, Pongracic, Dodo, Ranieri, Cataldi, Mandragora, Fagioli, Guðmundsson & Kean

Atalanta preview: Beaten at home by Inter
Atalanta might have had the home advantage against the league leaders Inter Milan but it didn't count for anything in the end.
The two sides went in goalless at the interval but Inter soon broke the deadlock in the second half and went on to add a killer second goal late on to win the match 2-0.
Ederson got sent off during that Inter defeat and will now miss the trip to Fiorentina along with the injured Mateo Retegui, Juan Cuadrado, Gianluca Scamacca and Giorgio Scalvini
Predicted lineup: Carnesecchi (GK), Djimsiti, Kolasinac, Bellanova, Hien, de Roon, Zappacosta, Pasalic, De Ketelaere, Lookman & Retegui

Player to watch: Ademola Lookman
Ademola Lookman has been excellent for Atalanta ever since he made the move to Italy from German side RB Leipzig in 2022.

Lookman scored 13 times in his debut season in Serie A, then followed that up with 11 goals last season and currently sits on 13 goals in 23 league games of the 2024/25 campaign.
Lookman is enjoying another fantastic season with Atalanta
The Nigerian international, who also has five assists to his name, has more pressure on his shoulders to score Atalanta's goals right now due to the injury to top scorer Mateo Retegui who has scored 22 times in Serie A this season.
