Feyenoord will be itching to get back out on the pitch after suffering an embarrassing 5-0 defeat at the hands of Benfica last time out. Monaco haven't fared much better either drawing back-to-back games and are yet to win in pre-season.

Feyenoord vs Monaco Prediction: Both sides need a positive result
Key stats
- Monaco have scored in three of their four pre-season friendlies
- Feyenoord have kept clean sheets in half of their matches this summer
- Rouges et Blancs have only lost two of their 12 competitive matches against Dutch opposition
Correct score prediction: Feyenoord 2-1 Monaco
After being humbled by Benfica in their previous friendly, it's difficult to see Feyenoord not bouncing back immediately. Monaco have also been far from impressive, which makes it two out-of-form sides and the chances of both teams scoring very high.
Pre-game odds and win probability: Feyenoord know they must bounce back
- Home: N/A
- Draw: N/A
- Away: N/A
Coming off the back of a 5-0 defeat, it may be bizarre to fancy Feyenoord so heavily, but following on from a positive season last time out we can see them bouncing back. Monaco were also very good last term only finishing behind PSG in Ligue 1, so it will be a very close encounter.
We can't imagine this game finishing with either side keeping a clean sheet given the quality of players on show and how they've performed this pre-season. You may wish to look at something with further value, so be sure to check out our free betting tips page.
Most recent H2Hs: Nothing to separate Feyenoord and Monaco
Monaco and Feyenoord have never met each other in either a competitive or pre-season friendly which makes this clash very interesting. Neither side can look back on history to see what works against their opponent, but it should result in a very close match.
Feyenoord Preview: Brian Priske needs an improved display
Brian Priske will have hoped for a better pre-season having replaced Arne Slot who's joined Liverpool and he knows there are huge shoes to fill after two successive campaigns. Feyenoord have a very impressive squad, so they need to be putting in the performances on the pitch.
Predicted lineup: Bijlow (GK), Hancko, Beelen, Read, Lopez, Geertruida, Zerrouki, Nieuwkoop, Paixao, Gimenez, Ueda

Monaco Preview: Rouges et Blancs to put down a marker
Monaco recorded their best finish in Ligue 1 last campaign since 2018, which was a year after they had won the league title, so they are looking to be on the up once again. A disappointing pre-season shouldn't cloud over the fact they have a very impressive squad.
Predicted lineup: Kohn (GK), Vanderson, Kehrer, Salisu, Henrique, Zakaria, Fofana, Golovin, Minamino, Balogun, Diatta

Player to watch: Santiago Gimenez
Perhaps rather luckily for Feyenoord, Santiago Gimenez is still their player despite having been linked with Tottenham Hotspur all summer. It should come as no surprise given he netted 26 goals across all competitions.
Gimenez managed to score in both the Europa League and Champions League this season so he's capable of performing against non-Dutch sides, which means Monaco must be wary of the Mexican striker.
