Feyenoord welcome Fenerbahce to the De Kuip Stadium in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League (UCL) third qualifying round clash on Wednesday night. The winner over both legs will face a play-off match against either Club Brugge or RB Salzburg to enter into the league phase of the competition.
Feyenoord have had a mixed pre-season so far in preparation for the new 2025/26 campaign, with one win, draw and loss each to their name. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce have been impressive, winning three of their four pre-season friendlies in the lead up to this clash.

Feyenoord vs Fenerbahce prediction: Mourinho masterclass incoming?
Key stats
- Feyenoord have only won twice in six games in total in all competitions.
- Fenerbahce have won five of their previous six matches across all competitions.
- Fenerbahce are unbeaten in the last three H2Hs, winning two of them.
Correct score prediction: Feyenoord 0-1 Fenerbahce
Two of the previous three meetings have ended 1-0 to Fenerbahce, and given manager Jose Mourinho's reputation of grinding out results with solid defensive performances, we are backing his team to do so again here. When Fenerbahce have won in pre-season, they have also kept a clean sheet more often than not, which makes them winning to nil even more appealing.
Pre-game odds and win probability: Feyenoord favourites with bookmakers
- HOME: 11/10 (2.10) – 47.6%
- DRAW: 27/10 (3.70) – 27.0%
- AWAY: 21/10 (3.10) – 32.3%
*odds from Ladbrokes, subject to change
As shown by the implied probabilities, Feyenoord are favourites to take a first-leg advantage on home soil. Fenerbahce can be backed for victory at just over 32%, while a draw is valued at 27%.

Player to watch: Jhon Duran

Jhon Duran is a statement signing for Fenerbahce after joining on loan from Al Nassr, where he made a big-money move to from Aston Villa in January. He managed to score 24 goals in 47 appearances for both clubs combined last season, and Feyenoord will certainly see him as the main danger man to stop.
