Draw

Man Utd are yet to lose in the Europa League this season.

A point should be enough to see Manchester United secure automatic qualification for the next round of the Europa League but the Red Devils face a tricky trip to Romania on Thursday night to face an FCSB side that only sit a point behind their English guests.

FCSB vs Man Utd prediction: Possible stalemate on the cards?

Key Stats

  • FCSB have only lost one of their seven Europa League games this season.
  • The hosts have only lost one of their last six competitive and non-competitive matches.
  • Man Utd have only lost one of their last six matches across all competitions.
  • Both teams have scored in five of the visitors' last six matches.

Correct score prediction: FCSB 1-1 Man Utd

Man Utd have performed well in the Europa League this season, being one of just three clubs left in the competition that are yet to taste defeat. With that in mind, we're backing Thursday's game to end in a 1-1 draw as FCSB have performed really well, only losing once in Europe this season.

Man Utd preview: Unbeaten in Europe

The Red Devils have saved their best football for the Europa League this season, picking up four wins and three draws from their seven group games so far.

United played host to Scottish side Rangers last time out where a close and competitive game ended with plenty of drama. The hosts took the lead via a jack Butland own goal in the 52nd-minute but Rangers looked to have pinched a point when they equalised with two minutes left on the clock. However, in stoppage-time Bruno Fernandes scored an excellent close-range volley to win the game for the home side and take them to the brink of automatic qualification.

Luke Shaw, Jonny Evans and Mason Mount could all miss the trip to Romania this week due to injury.

Predicted lineup: Bayındır (GK), de Ligt, Dalot, Martínez, Yoro, Eriksen, Fernandes, Collyer, Zirkzee, Garnacho & Diallo

Player to watch – Christian Eriksen

Man Utd's veteran midfielder might be on his way out of the club at the end of this season but Christian Eriksen has been one of the club's best performers in the Europa League.

The Danish international has scored goals and provided two assists in the Europa League this season, making him a key player in the club's unbeaten run in this competition.

Eriksen's experience has been vital in the Europa League

We're backing Eriksen to use his experience this week to help guide Man Utd to the positive result that they need to secure automatic qualification.
