FC Cincinnati have been among the best teams in Major League Soccer for the past few years, but the championship continues to evade them.
The Orange and Blue have finished inside the top five in the Eastern Conference in each of the last four seasons and even won the Supporters' Shield back in 2023. However, they remain one of seven current franchises to have never won the Championship.
Could this year be different? So far, it would be difficult to make a case for them. Yes, they are currently inside the playoff positions, but too many draws (four in their last six games) are costing them.
A win over the current champions and the league's most talked-about team, Inter Miami, could spark them into life, but if they are to achieve that, they will have to do it without the injured trio of Alvas Powell, Ayoub Jabbari and Teenage Hadebe.
As for Inter Miami, the dream of back-to-back MLS championships is very much on thanks to a strong start to the season.
After 12 matches, they sit nicely on 22 points, just two points adrift of Nashville, who currently occupy top spot in the Eastern Conference. Unsurprisingly, Miami are also the Conference's top scorers with 26 goals to their name.
As ever, all eyes will be on Lionel Messi this week. Last time out, the Argentinian became the quickest player to register 100 goals and assists in MLS history, shutting down the idea that he might want to wind down with a month to go to the World Cup.
The Argentinian legend will start again on Wednesday night, but Inter Miami are set to be without Ian Fray, who continues to deal with a leg injury.
