🔥 Our Hot tip

England to win (-1 handicap)

England have won each their last four matches by a margin of two goals or more.

England will take on Serbia in a World Cup qualifier on Thursday, with the Three Lions already safe in the knowledge that they have booked their place at the tournament next summer.

The same can't be said for Serbia, however, who are still desperately scrapping for points to finish inside the top two in Group K.

As part of this week's round of World Cup qualifying betting tips, check out our England vs Serbia prediction below.

England vs Serbia prediction: A straightforward evening for the hosts

Key Stats

  • England have won every competitive match they've played under Thomas Tuchel.
  • Serbia lost 5-0 to England earlier in qualifying.
  • England have kept a clean sheet in all six of their World Cup qualifiers so far.

Correct score prediction: England 3-0 Serbia

Although qualification is already secured, England won't want to lose any of their momentum during this international break and based on their performances under Tuchel so far, this should be another straightforward victory.

Most recent H2Hs: Advantage England

England have only ever played Serbia twice before, with the Three Lions winning on both occasions. The 5-0 hammering in Serbia back in September was the best night of the Tuchel era so far.

England preview: Bellingham returns

The headline news from the England camp is that Jude Bellingham is available once again after missing the last camp due to fitness concerns. Tuchel could also hand out debuts on Thursday night, with three uncapped players in the squad – Jarell Quansah, Nico O'Reilly and Alex Scott.

Predicted lineup: Pickford (GK), James, Konsa, Stones, Burn, Rice, Anderson, Saka, Bellingham, Rashford, Kane

Last five results

  • Latvia 0-5 England
  • England 3-0 Wales
  • Serbia 0-5 England
  • England 2-0 Andorra
  • England 1-3 Senegal

Serbia preview: No Mitrovic

Serbia have been dealt a big blow this week as Aleksandar Mitrovic made himself unavailable for selection due to an injury sustained in Saudi Arabia. The good news is that they are pretty stacked in forward areas, with Dusan Vlahovic a more-than-capable deputy.

Predicted lineup: Petrovic (GK), Mimovic, Milenkovic, Pavlovic, Terzic, Gudelj, Lukic, Zivkovic, Samardzic, Kostic, Vlahovic

Last five results

  • Andorra 1-3 Serbia
  • Serbia 0-1 Albania
  • Serbia 0-5 England
  • Latvia 0-1 Serbia
  • Serbia 3-0 Andorra

Player to watch: Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham was the face of English football a couple of years ago, but he now has a fight on his hands to guarantee his position as a starter of the Three Lions ahead of the World Cup. His form has been okay for Real Madrid this season, but he has more gears in him.
