England will take on Andorra on Saturday, 6 September, as both teams continue their qualifying campaigns for the 2026 World Cup.
The Three Lions come into the match expected to put on a show for the crowd at Villa Park, with Thomas Tuchel under a little bit of pressure after an uninspiring start to life as England boss.
Meanwhile, Andorra have absolutely no pressure on them for this one and are expected to just try and keep the score down as best they can.

England vs Andorra prediction: The hosts to muddle along
Key Stats
- England haven't beaten any team by four goals under Thomas Tuchel.
- Andorra managed to restrict England to just one goals when the two teams last met.
- England have scored just three goals in the first half across their last three meetings with Andorra.
Correct score prediction: England 3-0 Andorra
While other international heavyweights have been able to score five or more goals against Andorra on a regular basis, England only managed to beat them 1-0 earlier in qualifying. The Three Lions have looked far from fluid under Tuchel so far, and although that could change, we can only go off the evidence we've been shown.

England preview: Debutants are expected
Thomas Tuchel has called up two uncapped players for his squad this month, with Djed Spence and Elliot Anderson both in line to earn their first caps against Andorra. Spence's selection would make him the first muslim player to ever line up for the Three Lions. Adam Wharton has been forced to pull out of the squad, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been called up to replace the Palace midfielder.
Predicted lineup: Henderson (GK), Livramento, Stones, Burn, Spence, Rice, Anderson, Bowen, Rogers, Rashford, Kane
Last five matches
- England 1-3 Senegal
- Andorra 0-1 England
- England 3-0 Latvia
- England 2-0 Albania
- England 5-0 Ireland
Andorra preview: Old heads to try and keep the score down
Andorra have no aspirations to try and win the match on Saturday; they will head to Villa Park simply trying to keep England out for as long as they possibly can. They will line up with a 43-year-old in the middle of the park, with Marc Pujol set to earn his 123rd cap for his country.
Predicted lineup: Alvarez (GK), Borra, Olivera, Llovera, San Nicolas, Garcia, Vales, Martinez, Rebes, Cervos, Fernandez
Last five matches
- Serbia 3-0 Andorra
- Andorra 0-1 England
- Albania 3-0 Andorra
- Andorra 0-1 Latvia
- Malta 0-0 Andorra
Player to watch: Marcus Rashford
Marcus Rashford's career in English football was beginning to fizzle out, so the move to Barcelona could certainly rejuvenate him, which would only be good news for England in a World Cup year. So far for his new club, Rashford has been reduced to cameos and is yet to score or provide an assist. A good performance here could do him the world.
