Eintracht Frankfurt have been severely hampered by inconsistency this season, with the club struggling to string together victories and make a serious push for the top six.

Albert Riera’s men have not tasted back-to-back victories in any competition since November, but having picked up an encouraging victory over Wolfsburg last weekend, they have a chance to change that.

Victory would also keep Frankfurt in the hunt for a top-six finish, especially with sixth-placed Hoffenheim enduring a tremendous slump in results.

There is one area which Eintacht will need to address ahead of their final run this season, and that is their leaky defence.

The Eagles have conceded a whopping 54 goals this season, and there are only two other teams in the entire competition who have done worse - both of them in the automatic relegation zone.

Goalkeeper Kaua Santos has been out of action over the last five games due to a knee injury, though Michael Zetterer has done well in his absence, picking up three clean sheets in six games.

When it comes injuries, RB Leipzig have a lengthy list of individuals who are not available for Saturday’s game.

Ezechiel Banzuzi and Viggo Gebel are set to miss the trip to Frankfurt due to knee injuries.

Conrad Harder and Castello Lukeba missed last weekend’s game with Borussia Monchengladbach, while midfielder Xaver Schlager earned a suspension by picking up his fifth yellow card of the campaign.

Despite those troubles, Leipzig are heading into the weekend looking for a fourth straight victory in the Bundesliga.

Wins over Hoffenheim, Werder Bremen and Borussia Monchengladbach have put Die Roten Bullen in a strong position, with the club sitting fourth and enjoying a four-point advantage over Bayer Leverkusen.

Ole Werner has also overseen a solid run of away results, with Leipzig winning four of their last six on the road.

There is one question mark for the visitors ahead of Saturday’s game, and it concerns Leipzig’s dreadful record away at Frenkfurt.

Leipzig have never won away at the Deutsche Bank Park, while two fo their last three visits to the ground ended in 4-0 defeats.

Whispers predicts: Eintracht Frankfurt 1-1 RB Leipzig

Die Roten Bullen have serious momentum heading into this fixture, but their poor away record in Frankfurt cannot be ignored.

With that in mind, backing the draw could be the smart play here, especially with the bookies offering 3/1 odds.

Both teams to score is another solid proposition, with both sides managing to rattle the net without too many problems. The 11/25 odds are not very attractive, but this could be a great addition to a bet builder.

However, if you are looking for some serious value, the correct score market is the one to try.

Backing a 1-1 draw in Saturday’s fixture could yield huge rewards, with the bookmakers offering 9/1 odds.

📈 Whispers' Tips

> Match Result - Draw at 3/1 | Likelihood: Probable

> Both teams to score at 11/25 | Likelihood: Probable

> Correct Score: Eintracht Frankfurt 1-1 RB Leipzig at 9/1 | Likelihood: Outsider
