Player to watch: Marcelo Fernandez
After a disappointing performance in Paraguay's 5-0 defeat against Japan, Marcelo Fernandez has started to find his stride. The Libertad Asuncion player has scored thrice in two appearances since then. This includes the goal that sent Paraguay to the quarterfinals.
As it stands, Fernandez is just a goal behind Morocco's Soufiane Rahimi in the race for the Golden Boot. It will be interesting to see how he fares against Egypt.
