🔥 Our Hot tip

Over 3.5 goals

Both teams' last two games have seen 4+ goals scored.

Chelsea face an uphill battle to keep their drams of winning a first-ever Women's Champions League title alive as they prepare to face Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in the second leg of their quarter-final clash on Wednesday night.

Indeed, the Blues are 3-1 down from the first leg at the Emirates Stadium, which will be difficult to overturn against their London rivals.

Arsenal are also the holders of the competition, and have ambitions themselves of going all the way again.

After a run of six straight Women's Super League titles, it is highly unlikely that Chelsea will sacrifice their crown come the end of the season.

They have won the League Cup, but the Blues always have their eyes on the big-name trophies at the start of every campaign.

🔍 Whispers Insight

Chelsea have won their last five home games.

One of those is the one that would complete their trophy cabinet, the Champions League.

However, they must overturn a two-goal deficit against fierce London rivals and holders Arsenal, and having not been entirely convincing in recent games, so it represents a tall order for the Blues.

Meanwhile, while the Gunners also look unlikely to win the WSL with Manchester City destined for glory, they will be eyeing up the Champions League again.

As underdogs, Arsenal beat the mighty Barcelona 1-0 in the final to lift the trophy in 2025, and should they get through against Chelsea, they will have only two more matches before another final.

🔍 Whispers Insight

Alessia Russo has scored in each of her last three appearances.

The visitors also have form on their side, having won 11 in a row across all competitions including beating Chelsea twice.

They seem to have the Blues' number at the moment, and with a two-goal advantage, they will fancy themselves to reach the semi-final.

Whispers predicts: Chelsea Women 2-2 Arsenal Women

Chelsea are 21/20 favourites with bookmakers to win on home soil, although they need at least a two-goal buffer to send them through.

They may leave gaps for Arsenal to exploit, and in formidable form, we fancy the Gunners to get a positive result.

Double chance - Draw or Arsenal at 31/40 is therefore our first pick.

Both sides were involved in seven-goal games in the WSL over the weekend, with Chelsea beating Aston Villa 4-3 and Arsenal triumphing over North London rivals Tottenham 5-2, both on home soil.

With four goals scored in the first leg too, Over 3.5 goals at 7/4 also appeals to us.

In terms of potential goalscorers, we fancy Russo to add to her hat-trick against Spurs, and so Alessia Russo to score anytime at 9/4 is worth a punt in our eyes.

Overall, we think Arsenal will avoid defeat here, and our 2-2 prediction is available at 12/1 with some bookmakers.

📈 Whispers' Tips

> Double chance - Draw or Arsenal at 31/40 | Likelihood: Probable

> Over 3.5 goals at 7/4 | Likelihood: Possible

> Alessia Russo to score anytime at 9/4 | Likelihood: Outsider
