Brighton to win

Brighton have won four of their last five Premier League matches.

Burnley will take on Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, 11 April, as the hosts edge closer to relegation to the Championship.

After a promising start to the campaign, the Clarets have since endured a desperately disappointing season back in the top flight, and preparations for the second tier have likely been taking place for a couple of months now.

For Brighton, a resurgence in recent weeks has brought the possibility of European football next season back to the table.

Burnley's end to the season is in danger of completely unravelling, if it hasn't already. The Clarets have won just one league match since the end of October, and Scott Parker can count himself fortunate to still be in a job.

The vast majority of fans at Turf Moor have already seen enough, and tickets for this match are still available in almost every section of the stadium.

Although the message from Parker is that his side won't give up until they are mathematically down, the target now has likely shifted to trying to avoid finishing below a Wolves side that had just two points to their name at Christmas.

For the visit of Brighton, Parker will be without Josh Cullen, Jordan Beyer, Zeki Amdouni, Mike Tresor, Connor Roberts and Hannibal Mejbri due to injuries. Meanwhile, Josh Laurent is suspended after breaching the yellow-card threshold prior to the international break.

As for Brighton, a top-eight finish and a crack at the Europa Conference League is attainable once again after a run of four league wins from five.

Prior to this run of form, questions were beginning to be asked about Fabian Hurzeler's future at the club, but those have very quickly been put to bed, and the young German will be relishing the opportunity to face one of the league's weakest sides this weekend.

Beyond league positions, this is a match-up that should suit Hurzeler's style of play. Burnley have lost the ball in their own half more times than all but one side in the Premier League this season, while Brighton have won the ball in the opponents' half more times than anyone else. Putting two and two together, the Seagulls should feast on Saturday.

Hurzeler also has fewer squad issues than his opposite number this weekend. Adam Webster and Stefanos Tzimas are his only injury absentees, while Lewis Dunk is ruled out due to suspension.
