Bournemouth are set to take on Leicester City at the Vitality Stadium on the final day of the 2024/25 Premier League season.

The Cherries have had another solid season in the top flight, finishing safely in midtable and will want to end the campaign with a win in front of their home fans.

Leicester, on the other hand, have had a dismal season back in the Premier League. The Foxes have been relegated for some time now and are already focused on their upcoming season in the Championship.

As part of this week's round of Premier League betting tips, check out our Bournemouth vs Leicester prediction below.

Bournemouth vs Leicester prediction: Foxes to defy the odds

Key Stats

  • Leicester are unbeaten across their last three Premier League matches.
  • Leicester have drawn two of their last three Premier League away matches.
  • Fewer than three goals have been scored in four of Bournemouth's last six matches.

Correct score prediction: Bournemouth 1-1 Leicester

A few weeks ago, this match would have had a home win written all over it, but the fortunes of the two teams have shifted in recent times. The Cherries also have nothing to play for anymore with Europa Conference League football out of the equation, which lessens their determination to do well on Sunday.

Pre-game odds and win probability: Bournemouth go in as favourites

  • HOME: 1/3 (1.33) – 75%
  • DRAW: 9/2 (5.50) – 18.2%
  • AWAY: 15/2 (8.50) – 11.8%

*odds from Ladbrokes, subject to change

The Bournemouth vs Leicester odds suggest that this should be a walk in the park for the home team, but their recent form doesn't necessarily back that up. Ladbrokes have given Bournemouth a 75% chance of winning the match on Sunday, while Leicester have been given just an 11.8% chance of victory.

Most recent H2Hs: Advantage Leicester

Leicester and Bournemouth faced off against each other twice in 2024 – the reverse league fixture at the King Power Stadium in October and an FA Cup tie back in February. Both matches were won by the Foxes, which should give them plenty of confidence ahead of this one. Bournemouth's last win over Leicester was in April 2023.

Bournemouth preview: A farewell to a Galactico

Dean Huijsen has had a stellar season with Bournemouth, and his performances for the Cherries have earned him a blockbuster move to Real Madrid. Sunday will mark his final appearance in red and black, and he should get a fond farewell from the club's supporters. In terms of injuries, Enes Unal, Ryan Christie, Luis Sinisterra and Dango Ouattara all miss out.

Predicted lineup: Kepa (GK), Smith, Huijsen, Zabarnyi, Kerkez, Adams, Scott, Tavernier, Kluivert, Semenyo, Evanilson

Player to watch: Patson Daka

Patson Daka had had more than enough time to prove he can be Jamie Vardy's replacement at Leicester City, but the Zambian has unfortunately never been able to do it. While Vardy has played his final match for the Foxes, Sunday could also mark Daka's final game for the club, with a fresh start for all parties perhaps what's needed. Can he end with a goal?
