Everton vs Bournemouth prediction: Goals expected at Goodison?
Key Stats
- Everton's last two games at Goodison Park have produced over 3.5 goals.
- Four of the Cherries' last five fixtures have witnessed at least four goals.
- Beto scored twice against Leicester to take him onto five goals in all competitions for the Toffees.
Correct score prediction: Everton 2-2 Bournemouth
Everton look a completely different team under the guidance of David Moyes, a team that offers much more of a goal threat and likes to take the game to their opponents. However, we've backed Saturdya's clash to end in a draw after 90 minutes as Bournemouth arrive in good form having only lost one of their last six matches across all competitions and scoring at least two goals in four of their last five fixtures.
Pre-game odds and win probability: Bournemouth the bookmaker's pick
- HOME: 19/10 (2.90) – 34.5%
- DRAW: 5/2 (3.50) – 28.6%
- AWAY: 6/4 (2.50) – 40%
*odds from Ladbrokes, subject to change
Bournemouth are the expected winner of this game with a probability of 40% but we are predicting a close and competitive 90 minutes between the pair at Goodison Park.

Everton preview: Thrashed the Foxes
The Toffees made light work of Leicester City last weekend, taking the lead after just ten seconds through Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Beto started the game due to an injury to Dominic Calvert-Lewin and the Guinea-Bissau striker made it 2-0 in the sixth minute before scoring Everton's third in first-half stoppage time. The second 45 proved less exciting with Iliman Ndiaye scoring the only goal in the 90th minute to wrap up a well-earned 4-0 victory.
We're not expecting Moyes to make many changes to the side that started against Leicester with the exception of full-back Nathan Patterson who could come into the side.
Predicted lineup: Pickford (G), Tarkowski, Mykolenko, Branthwaite, Patterson, Gueye, Doucoure, Garner, Lindstrom, Beto & Ndiaye

Bournemouth preview: Beaten by Liverpool
The Cherries played host to Liverpool last time out where they would have been hoping to secure all three points.
However, the in-form hosts suffered a 2-0 defeat in the end, despite creating a selection of excellent goalscoring opportunities.
Enes Unal, Francisco Evanilson, Marcos Senesi, Adam Smith, Julian Araujo, Alex Scott, James Hill, Luis Sinisterra and Julio Soler could all miss the trip to Goodison Park through injury.
Predicted lineup: Kepa (GK), Zabarnyi, Kerkez, Huijsen, Christie, Cook, Brooks, Adams, Kluivert, Semenyo & Ouattara

Player to watch: Beto
Beto came close to leaving Everton in January due to a lack of game-time at the Merseysideres but an injury to Dominic Calvert Lewin handed the former Udinese man a rare start against Leicester City.

Beto took that chance with both hands, scoring two excellent goals to help guide the Toffees to a fantastic 4-0 victory and make it three wins of the run for Moyes' men.
Will Beto build on his brace against the Foxes?
We're backing Beto to score again this weekend in the FA Cup, where he already has one goal this season against Peterborough, further cementing his place in the Everton starting lineup.
