Bosnia & Herzegovina continue their World Cup preparations with a friendly against North Macedonia at the Stadion Asim Ferhatovic Hase in Sarajevo on Friday night.

Meanwhile, North Macedonia failed to qualify for this summer's tournament, but will be playing in friendlies including this one before their next competitive outing in the UEFA Nations League.

Bosnia are preparing for just their second-ever World Cup appearance since forming as a nation, with their last in 2014 as they were knocked out of the group stage.
Their only win came in a 3-1 victory against Iran, where Edin Dzeko scored one of 73 goals for his country, and remarkably still leads the line for Bosnia at the age of 40.
This time, Bosnia will be hoping to qualify from a group that contains co-hosts Canada, Switzerland and Qatar, but all three are ranked higher than them (65th) in the official FIFA world rankings.
Still, Sergej Barbarez will be hoping to mastermind a plan to get his nation into the knockouts, and will want to be best prepared for the tournament by beating North Macedonia on home soil.
The visitors are only ranked two places below Bosnia in the world rankings (67th), but failed to qualify for the World Cup, meaning their wait continues to make a first-ever appearance at the tournament.
Still, Goce Sedloski can take a look at his squad for their upcoming friendlies including this one, with as many as seven uncapped players named as he looks to freshen things up ahead of the Nations League that is set to commence in September.
However, a core group of experienced players also remain, including the likes of Ezgjan Alioski, who now plays his club football in Switzerland with Lugano, and Stole Dimitrievski and Eljif Elmas, who ply their trade at established European sides Valencia and Napoli respectively.
Nonetheless, North Macedonia will be seen as underdogs here on their travels, especially considering they are winless in six games in all competitions (D4, L2).

Whispers predicts: Bosnia & Herzegovina 3-1 North Macedonia
Bosnia are favourites for victory with bookmakers, and given home advantage and their superior form, we are backing Bosnia to win at 1/1 (2.00).
The same price is available for both teams to score, which has come through in Bosnia's previous seven outings across all competitions, so BTTS – Yes at 1/1 (2.00) is our next pick.
Our final bet focuses on the total goals market, and with 13 scored across the previous three meetings, we think there could be plenty more on show.
Over 3.5 goals at 10/3 (4.33) is therefore worth a punt in our eyes, while our prediction of a 3-1 Bosnia win can also be backed at 16/1.
> Bosnia to win at 1/1 (2.00) | Likelihood: Probable
> BTTS – Yes at 1/1 (2.00) | Likelihood: Probable
> Over 3.5 goals at 10/3 (4.33) | Likelihood: Possible
