Porto to win

Porto have won five of their last six matches

Portuguese giants Porto make the trip to Norway on Wednesday evening to face Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League and we're bringing you our predictions for the game.

Bodo/Glimt vs Porto prediction: Away win on the cards?

Key Stats

  • Bodo/Glimt have lost two of their last four matches in all competitions.
  • Both teams have scored in just two of the hosts' last six outings.
  • Only one of Porto's last six fixtures have produced goals at both ends of the pitch.

Correct score prediction: Bodo/Glimt 0-2 Porto

We're expecting Porto's class to shine through on Wednesday evening in Norway and have backed the visitors to claim a 2-0 victory. Porot have scored exactly two goals in three of their last five matches and have kept four clean sheets in their last six attempts.

Most recent H2Hs: First-ever meeting

There is no previous history between these two cubs as Bodo/Glimt and Porto clash for the first time in their history on Wednesday evening in the Europa League.

Bodo/Glimt preview: Lost heavily at the weekend

Bodo/Glimt sit seven points clear at the top of the Eliteserien despite losing 4-1 at Brann on Sunday.

The only other recent defeat for the Norwegian side arrived away against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League qualifiers, a defeat that forced Bodo/Glimt into the Europa League.

The hosts could be without up to seven players for the visit of Porto on Wednesday as Jostein Gundersen, Nino Zugelj, Brice Wembangomo, Daniel Bassi, Omar Elabdellaoui, Gaute Vetti and Syver Skeide all have injuries.

Predicted lineup: Haikin (GK), Moe, Bjorkan, Bjortuft, Zinckernagel, Berg, Fet, Evjen, Sjovold, Hauge & Hogh

Player to watch: Galeno

Galeno arrived at Porto in 2017 but never settled at the club and was sold to Braga in 2019.

However, after impressing during the 2021/22 campaign, scoring 10 goals in his opening 24 appearances for Braga, Porto signed the winger back in January and have never looked back since.

Porto's Brazilian winger has made a great start to the season

The Brazilian scored 31 goals in the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons combined and has already scored five goals in his opening five appearances this season, so you can see why Galeno is our player to watch against Bodo/Glimt on Wednesday.
