Belgium have enjoyed a remarkable turnaround since a difficult start to Rudi Garcia’s tenure.

A 3-1 defeat to Ukraine in his first match in charge extended a worrying run that saw Belgium lose four consecutive games and win just once in nine outings.

Since then, however, they have responded emphatically, putting together an unbeaten streak that includes eight victories and four draws.

Their latest success came in the form of a 2-0 win away to Croatia, further strengthening confidence ahead of a fourth straight World Cup appearance.

While Belgium are no longer led by the stars of their celebrated “golden generation”, expectations remain high.

Drawn alongside Egypt, Iran and New Zealand, they will believe progression to the knockout rounds is well within reach.

Tunisia, on the other hand, face a much more daunting challenge in their World Cup group.

Ranked lowest among the teams in Group F, the North Africans are still chasing a first-ever appearance in the World Cup knockout stages at their seventh attempt.

Recent form offers little encouragement, with just one win from their last six matches, and that lone success came against Haiti.

Their preparations suffered another setback earlier this week when they were beaten by Austria despite their opponents playing most of the match with 10 men.

That performance contrasted sharply with the disciplined side that cruised through World Cup qualifying while remaining unbeaten and conceding very few chances.

However, the level of opposition they faced was considerably lower than what awaits them against Belgium.

Whispers predicts: Belgium 2-1 Tunisia

This warm-up game before the World Cup begins is set to be a tight match, as both teams are looking to compete very strongly.

Belgium have been in good form up front, scoring 20 goals in their last six matches at a rate of over three per game.

However, the Tunisia team under Sabri Lamouchi are no pushover despite having a rough patch in their last few games, conceding just three goals in that time.

The bookmakers have priced the home team as the clear favourites to win this match at 3/10 (1.30) odds, reflecting their recent form.

A draw is valued at 17/4 (5.25), while an away victory for the visitors is considered a highly unlikely result at 17/2 (9.50).

The option for both teams to score is priced at 13/10 (2.30), while the odds for over 2.5 goals are set at 3/4 (1.75).

Also, there are other options you can bet on, like home team total goals (over 1.5), which is given at 10/21 (1.48) odds.
