Bayern Munich have scored 33 goals across their last 10 matches.

Bayern Munich have an opportunity to cap off a near perfect domestic campaign by completing a season double when they travel to Berlin to face Stuttgart in the DFB Pokal final this Saturday.

The Bavarians have already claimed the Bundesliga crown, but their attention now turns to the cup – a competition they have not won since 2020.

Stuttgart, on the other hand, enter Saturday’s final as the defending champions, with the Swabians looking to claim the DFB Pokal for a fifth time in their history.

Bayern Munich crushed their competition in the Bundesliga this season, powering to the title with 28 wins from 34 games, and scoring a mighty 122 goals along the way.

The next job for manager Vincent Kompany is to end the club’s six-year drought in the DFB Pokal, and complete a domestic season double.

Bayern are by far the most successful team in the competition’s history winning 20 titles since their maiden crown in 1957 – that is 14 more cup triumphs than the next best team.

The Bavarians are certainly heading into their latest final in good spirits, having thrashed FC Koln 5-1 in their last Bundesliga outing.

The only concern for the German giants is the fact they could be without legendary goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who has missed training due to a lingering calf problem.

On a more positive note, Harry Kane is expected to start as he looks to cap off an incredible season – one which has seen him rattled the net 58 times across all competitions.

Stuttgart have no major injury worries ahead of the final, but their dreadful head-to-head record against Bayern is a serious concern.

The Swabians have lost seven of their previous eight meetings with the Bundesliga champions, five of which has seen them concede three or more goals.

Stuttgart and Bayern met a month ago, and despite taking the lead away at the Allianz Arena, the Swabians ended up on the end of a 4-2 defeat.

There are some positive signs for Sebastian Hoeness and his men, including the fact they are unbeaten in five matches across all competitions.

The last of those was a 2-2 draw away at Eintracht Frankfurt – a result which not only secured Stuttgart’s top four finish, but also secured Champions League football for next season.

Whispers predicts: Bayern Munich 4-2 Stuttgart

Bayern Munich have been playing heavy metal football this season, and we are not expecting that to change in the final game of the campaign.

Kompany’s men have scored 33 goals across their last 10 matches, leaving us no choice but to back the over 3.5 goals market at around the 4/5 mark.

Both teams to score is another smart play, but the odds are not that enticing at around 53/100.

The real money can be found in the correct score market, with the bookies offering 22/1 odds on the match to end in a 4-2 victory for Bayern.
