🔥 Our Hot tip

Over 5.5 goals

A total of 22 goals have been scored across Bayern's last three matches.

After last week's barnstorming nine-goal thriller at the Parc des Princes, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain will meet again on Wednesday night in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Although PSG hold a slender one-goal advantage after their first leg triumph last week, you will be hard-pressed to find anyone who thinks Wednesday night will finish goalless.

For those who don't watch much of Bayern Munich, last week's display in Paris was a reasonable summary of what you should expect of Vincent Kompany's side every time they take to the field.

The Bavarians' strengths undoubtedly lie in attacking areas, hence the four goals last week and the three in the Bundesliga at the weekend. At the back, however, they give away their fair share of chances, hence the 11 goals conceded across their last three matches in all competitions.

The fans at the Allianz Arena will be gearing up for another blow-for-blow shootout with the European champions, but when you have Harry Kane, who is now on 54 goals for the season, you are always going to go in feeling confident.

Domestically, with the Bundesliga title already in the bag, Bayern were afforded the opportunity to rest several players at the weekend, including Kane and Luis Diaz. Meanwhile, Lennart Karl is pushing for a return to the squad, while Serge Gnabry and Raphael Guerreiro are both out.

As for PSG, they all but secured the Ligue 1 title on Saturday with a 2-2 draw with Lorient. Luis Enrique was also able to rest several first-team players, including Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

While winning the title is almost a given for the French side at this point, winning back-to-back Champions Leagues is something that would put Enrique in the very top tier of elite managers who have ever worked in the game.

What makes this PSG side so impressive is that they are seemingly built to peak at this time of year. While the majority of teams are running on empty by May, Les Parisiens are hitting top form.

Their away form in Europe this season should give them plenty of confidence this week, too. They have won all three of their away legs in the knockout stages, including triumphs at Anfield and Stamford Bridge.

In terms of injuries, the only major absentee is Achraf Hakimi, who pulled his hamstring in the first leg last week.

Whispers predicts: Bayern Munich 4-3 PSG (PSG to win on pens)

Strap yourselves in because all signs indicate that this will be another classic. Over 5.5 goals has been best priced at 12/5.

Bayern's record at home this season makes it difficult to look elsewhere, particularly as they also have the momentum in the tie, having scored two late goals in Paris. Bayern Munich to win the match (not the tie) has been priced at 4/6.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has scored 10 goals in the Champions League this season. Kvaratskhelia is priced at 7/5 to score anytime.
