🔥 Our Hot tip

Over 3.5 total goals

Bayern Munich have averaged 4.6 goals per game in their last five wins

Both Bayern Munich and Boca Juniors impressed in their opening game of the FIFA Club World Cup (CWC) as they prepare to face off in their second match of the tournament at the Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday morning. Indeed, Bayern thrashed New Zealand minnows Auckland City 10-0, while Boca earned a respectable 2-2 draw against Portuguese heavyweights Benfica, having gone two goals up.

Bayern Munich vs Boca Juniors prediction: Bavarians to show who is boss?

Key stats

  • Bayern are unbeaten in eight games in all competitions, winning five without conceding.
  • Boca are winless in five matches in normal time across all competitions.
  • Bayern have scored a total of 23 goals across their previous five victories.

Correct score prediction: Bayern Munich 4-0 Boca Juniors

Bayern have been so free-scoring of late, while Boca have been leaking goals. The Bavarians have been keeping plenty of clean sheets too, so this could be another comfortable win to-nil for them.

Boca Juniors preview: Couple of suspensions to deal with

Boca received not one, but two red cards in their 2-2 draw against Benfica last time out. Influential central midfield player Ander Herrera was one of them, and he will be missed dearly.

Player to watch: Jamal Musiala

Jamal Musiala stole the headlines for Bayern Munich last time out, as he scored a hat-trick in their 10-0 thumping of Auckland City in their opening fixture of the tournament. They were the Germany international's 19th, 20th and 21st goals of the season in all competitions, an impressive tally for a player who pre-dominantly plays in the middle of the park.

Musiala has also grabbed eight assists, showing just how much of an influence that he has on the team. Nonetheless, a player like Musiala can make all the difference against a team that will try to be hard to break down in Boca Juniors.
