A spot in the DFB-Pokal final will be on the line when Bayer Leverkusen welcome Bayern Munich to the BayArena for a heavyweight semi-final clash this Wednesday night.
This will be the third successive semi-final outing for Leverkusen in this competition as they look to reach the final for the sixth time in their history.
Bayern Munich, on the other hand, were crowned Bundesliga champions over the weekend, but they now need a victory at the BayArena to keep their treble-winning hopes alive.

Bayer Leverkusen have come up short in the Bundesliga and the Champions League this season, meaning their only shot at silverware comes in the DFB-Pokal.
This will be Leverkusen’s third successive semi-final in the competition, with the side hoping to replicate their cup-winning run from 2023-24.
Die Werkself head into Wednesday’s fixture on the back of a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Augsburg last weekend - a loss which leaves the club four points adrift of the top four.
While that may have been just their second defeat in 11 games, Leverkusen’s general form has been plagued by draws, with the club sharing points six times since late February.
Another point of concern for Die Werkself are the injuries to Arthur and Martin Terrier, with both men set to watch Wednesday’s game from the sidelines.
Bayern Munich are also facing a few injury worries, with Serge Gnabry, Tom Bischof, Lennart Karl and Sven Ulreich all out of action.
On a positive note for the Bavarians, Harry Kane is set to start this heavyweight clash, fresh from becoming the first Englishman this century to score 50 competitive goals in one season.
Last weekend, Kane added a second Bundesliga title to his resume, and the former Tottenham Hotspur man will now be looking to take a big step to yet another piece of silverware.
His team are certainly the favourites ahead of the semi-final, having won 14 of their last 15 matches across all competitions - including last weekend’s 4-2 victory over Stuttgart.
Interestingly, the only team to stop Bayern during this recent run was Leverkusen, who held the Bavarians to a 1-1 draw back in mid-March.
Since that stalemate, Vincent Kompany’s men have not only won seven matches in a row but also scored 26 times during that time – an average of 3.7 goals per match.

Whispers predicts: Bayer Leverkusen 2-3 Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich might be playing away from home, but due to their sensational recent form, they find themselves as the 11/20 favourites.
That is not an attractive price in the betting, but there are a couple of other markets which are worth taking into consideration.
Over 3.5 goals, for instance, is available at a tasty 4/5 despite landing in six of Bayern’s previous seven outings.
If you’re looking for even more value, try the correct score market, with the bookies offering 14/1 odds for Bayern to win 3-2.
