Alkmaar's winning streak is in jeopardy?
Pascal Jansen, the coach of AZ Alkmaar, has been more than happy with how his team adjusted to the season thus far. Alkmaar plays both in Europe and the domestic championships, so it's been a challenge just as much as has been for Feyenoord. Jansen has managed to find the right balance for his team, especially offensively as their goals come from different angles, and fields of play. Jens Odgaard is the best scorer with four goals, but he is in doubt to play because of an injury. The host will have additional availability problems, but so far that hasn't been an issue for Jansen.

Feyenoord has been on goalscoring form in their recent games, scoring 17 in their last six matches alone which will give them plenty of confidence going into the derby match. Brazilian Danilo has been Feyenoord's best scorer this term with six goals, he has already proved to be a valuable addition to the team after coming over this summer from Ajax on a free transfer. Much will be expected from Sebastian Szymanski who had three assist this season which is the highest mark currently in Feyenoord's team. He has also scored a couple of goals. Feyenoord beat Alkmaar only once in their last five matches.
