🔥 Our Hot tip

BTTS: Yes

PSG and Arsenal have scored in their last five home and away games, respectively.

In this article, we have given our PSG vs Arsenal prediction, odds & betting tips ahead of their crucial UEFA Champions League (UCL) semi-final second-leg crash at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night. PSG hold a one-goal advantage after winning 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg.

PSG vs Arsenal prediction: Parisians to prance into final?

Key Stats

  • PSG have only won twice in six games in all competitions.
  • Arsenal are winless in three matches over all competitions.
  • PSG's 1-0 win in the first leg was their first in five H2Hs.

Correct score prediction: PSG 1-1 Arsenal

With PSG establishing a lead from the first leg, they will be favourites to go through at home. However, Arsenal must win the game to have a chance of going through, and with the UCL their only chance of silverware, the Gunners could put up a good fight.

Pre-game odds and win probability: PSG favourites to progress

  • HOME: 21/20 (2.05) – 48.8%
  • DRAW: 13/5 (3.60) – 27.8%
  • AWAY: 23/10 (3.30) – 30.3%

PSG are favourites to win, which would see them safely progress to the final. An Arsenal win is actually the next-fancied result, ranked slightly above a draw in normal time.

Most recent H2Hs: Advantage Arsenal?

PSG preview: Who replaces Dembele?

PSG made wholesale changes in their 2-1 defeat to Strasbourg in Ligue 1 last time out, and will likely resort back to a similar team that played against Arsenal in the first leg. They will be likely be without the goalscorer in that game Ousmane Dembele though, who picked up a hamstring injury at the Emirates.

Predicted lineup: Donnarumma (GK), Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes, Neves, Vitinha, Fabian, Barcola, Doue & Kvaratskhelia

Player to watch: Thomas Partey

Arsenal missed Thomas Partey when he was suspended for the first leg. There was too much space around the edge of the box for Ousmane Dembele to run onto the ball and score the winning goal, space that Partey may have filled in as a more natural holding midfielder.

Declan Rice had to fill that role, but Arsenal ideally want him playing further forward and bursting into the opposition's box like how he scored his goal against Bournemouth over the weekend. Nonetheless, when Partey plays, the balance of the Gunners midfield certainly looks better.
