🔥 Our Hot tip

BTTS: Yes

Both teams have scored in six of the last seven H2Hs

In this article, we have given our Liverpool vs Arsenal prediction, odds & betting tips ahead of their Premier League clash at Anfield on Sunday afternoon. Earlier this season, many thought this would be a title decider as the two teams battled at the top of the table, but Liverpool have since ran away with the trophy, while Arsenal are now nervously looking over their shoulders in the race to finish as the best runner-up.

Liverpool vs Arsenal prediction: Reds to show why they are champions?

Key Stats

  • Liverpool have won their last seven home league games.
  • Arsenal have lost three successive matches in all competitions for the first time this season.
  • Arsenal have won just once in six H2Hs.

Correct score prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Arsenal

Liverpool have beaten Arsenal to the title crown, and will want to show why they are champions. The Gunners have little time to recover from their Champions League heartbreak in midweek, and may wither under an intense Anfield atmosphere.

Pre-game odds and win probability: Liverpool favourites

  • HOME: 21/20 (2.05) – 48.8%
  • DRAW: 5/2 (3.50) – 28.6%
  • AWAY: 12/5 (3.40) – 29.4%

Liverpool are favourites to extend their lead to Arsenal to 18 points, while a Gunners win is favoured slightly above the draw.

Most recent H2Hs: Goals galore

The last seven H2Hs have produced 24 goals in total at an average of around 3.4 per game. Only one has not seen both teams score either, suggesting that it could be another entertaining affair despite not being the title spectacle it promised to be.

Of these, each team has won twice, while there have been three draws. Indeed, they have both been evenly matched in recent meetings.

Liverpool preview: Bradley starts ahead of Alexander-Arnold

Arne Slot claimed in his pre-match press conference that Conor Bradley will start in place of exit-bound Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back. Otherwise, we should expect a full-strength XI with a week's rest and a point to prove against their nearest title challengers.

Predicted lineup: Alisson (GK), Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Salah, Diaz & Gakpo

Arsenal preview: No fresh concerns

Mikel Arteta will likely start with the same XI that played PSG in midweek, given Arsenal's need to keep hold of second place. Riccardo Calafiori and Jorginho should make a return to the Premier League squad after injury.

Player to watch: Conor Bradley

Arne Slot has confirmed that Conor Bradley will start at right-back in place of the departing Trent Alexander-Arnold. It gives the Northern Ireland international a chance to claim the position his own ahead of next season.

Bradley has faced Arsenal before, winning on that occasion, while at youth level, he also boasts a 100% record by winning against them five times, scoring one goal and making one assist. He is certainly a threat going forward, and could cause young Gunners left-back Myles Lewis-Skelly plenty of problems while combining with Mohamed Salah.
