Ararat-Armenia will set their sights on reaching the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League for the first time ever when they host Shamrock Rovers at Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium on Tuesday.
The hosts held their own against Riga in the first qualifying round and are on a quest to qualify for the league phase of a UEFA competition for the first time.
Shamrock Rovers, on the other hand, are eyeing their third consecutive win.

Ararat-Armenia defeated Riga 4-3 on aggregate, advancing past the first qualifying round of the Championship for the first time in their history.
To be fair, the club was founded in 2017, and this is only their third attempt. They have come close to reaching the group stage of UEFA competition twice but were eliminated in the playoff round of the Europa League in 2019 and 2020.
Until their recent 1st-round away leg, Ararat-Armenia had only conceded more than two goals in a single match twice since August 2025.
