The Danish Superliga champions Midtjylland start the defence of their title away at AGF on Friday evening.
Hosts AGF missed out on European qualification last season after finishing fifth in the overall league table and lost both games against Midtjylland.
Both meetings between these two sides last season were closely fought and we're predicting another tight and tense 90 minutes between the pair on Friday.

AGF preview: Aiming for European qualification
On the final day of last season, AGF made the trip to Brondby where the visitors fell behind in the 17th minute.
However, an own goal got the two teams back onto level terms before the break and just before the hour mark, Tobias Bech fired AGF in front.
Brondby equalised in the 64th minute but this game always felt like it was going to produce a winning goal and 12 minutes from time, Patrick Mortensen made it 3-2 to AGF and the visitors held on to secure all three points.

Player to watch – Ola Brynhildsen
Ola Brynhildsen was a very successful striker in his homeland of Norway for Molde and made the move to Demark last season.
The 25-year-olds' first campaign with Midtjylland showed some promise but lacked the goals many had expected with the Norwegian international only scoring five times in 24 Superliga appearances.
Midtjylland's Norwegian striker will be hoping for more goals this season
However, after making the step up to Danish football, Brynhildsen will be hoping to reach double figures in 2024/25 and we're excited to see how he performs against AGF on Friday.
