Udinese vs AC Milan prediction: More dropped points on the road for the Rossoneri
Key stats
- Udinese have not conceded a first-half goal in any of their last eight home matches.
- Milan have fallen behind in five of their last six Serie A games.
- Udinese have lost three straight Serie A matches, after a run of six games unbeaten prior.
- The Rossoneri have conceded exactly two goals in each of their last four away games, as well as on their last two trips to Udine.
Correct score prediction: Udinese 2-2 AC Milan
Scoring has not been a problem for Milan, but quite surprisingly given manager Sergio Conceicao’s record at Porto, they are letting in goals frequently, and they could concede at least two in a fifth straight away league game for the first time in 12 years here.
Udinese’s form has also tailed off in recent weeks, but they are usually strong on home soil, and they have a very good record against Milan on their own patch.
Pre-game odds and win probability: Milan the surprising favourites
- HOME: 27/10 (3.70) – 27%
- DRAW: 5/2 (3.50) – 28.6%
- AWAY: 10/11 (1.91) – 52.4%

Perhaps indicative of Udinese’s three-game losing run, the bookmakers give the hosts a slim chance of taking the three points here, but Milan’s recent shaky form means a price below Evens for an away win is not the best value.

Most recent H2Hs: Milan stronger in general, but weaker on the road
This will be the 100th meeting between Udinese and Milan in Serie A, but the hosts have won just 19 of those previous 99 encounters.
Recent clashes have proven kinder to the Bianconeri though, because Milan have lost half of their last 16 visits to Udine, losing only more against Inter Milan and Juventus across the same timeframe.

Udinese preview: Season fizzling out for Runjaic's side
Kosta Runjaic’s men are now destined for a mid-table finish after three straight defeats have well and truly ended their slim hopes of European qualification, and it has even seen them drop below Torino into the bottom half.
The hosts are without veteran Alexis Sanchez, as well as fellow attackers Keinan Davis and Florian Thauvin, while Jordan Zemura and Isaak Toure join them on the treatment table.

AC Milan preview: Rossoneri to miss out on Europe?
More dropped points at home to Fiorentina last weekend, where Milan went 2-0 down inside 10 minutes before fighting back to draw, means the Rossoneri look set to miss out on European qualification altogether, after finishing second last season.
Milan start the weekend ninth, five points off the top seven, so Coppa Italia success could be their only route back into Europe for next season.
Alex Jimenez will miss out with suspension, while English duo Kyle Walker and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have both recently undergone surgery, and Santiago Gimenez was forced off less than half-an-hour after being introduced as a substitute last weekend.
Predicted Lineup: Maignan (GK), Florenzi, Tomori, Thiaw, Hernandez, Musah, Reijnders, Fofana, Pulisic, Jovic & Leao

Player to watch: Luka Jovic
The forgotten man at San Siro, Jovic has proved he is still capable of producing the goods with two goals off the bench in his last two appearances, after hardly kicking a ball all season.
Jovic could well start on the bench again behind Tammy Abraham, but after the impact he has made recently, including netting the equaliser against Fiorentina last week, he will surely play some part here.
