Man City and PSG are set to play a blockbuster Champions League clash at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.
It is the Cityzens' first home game since they were found guilty of breaking the Premier League's financial rules, and they responded well to a hostile atmosphere at Anfield last weekend by beating Liverpool 3-0.
PSG were also victorious domestically, defeating Le Mans 3-1 at home, and travel to Manchester as back-to-back Champions League winners.
There will be plenty of key battles all over the pitch, but one that could decide the game is Erling Haaland vs. Willian Pacho.
Here, FootballWhispers compares both players from a statistical standpoint, using data from the Premier League and Ligue 1 respectively this season.
Erling Haaland vs. Willian Pacho: How do they compare?
Of course, it should be noted that there is a disparity in quality between both leagues, but given Man City and PSG usually dominate these divisions, it is a fair comparison to make.
The standout statistic is that Haaland is averaging just over a goal per 90 in the Premier League, which means Pacho can expect a difficult night in trying to contain him.
The Norwegian also draws more than one foul per 90 on average, so Pacho will have to be careful in his physical battles with him.
Haaland also averages more than three shots per 90 with half of those on target, and also boasts a 44.4% dribble success, meaning he is expected to be a handful for Pacho.
The Colombian has held his own defensively though, averaging two tackles and 2.4 interceptions per 90.
Haaland may also find it difficult to dispossess Pacho in possession, given his 96.2% pass success per 90.
The physical battle between these two is the most intriguing, as they pose similar threats.
Haaland is ahead in terms of aerial duels won per 90, but Pacho boasts slightly more duels won per 90 overall.
It is a close call in terms of who will ultimately come out on top, as both players could easily hold their own in this game.
However, with Man City having home advantage and a siege mentality to drive them, it will be difficult for Pacho to keep Haaland quiet for the whole match.
