Where is BetMGM not available?
You might have noticed from our list of BetMGM states allowed to offer sports betting that Alabama, California, Wisconsin, Idaho, and Maine are missing. It is also not available in the following states as of the time of writing, in 2024:
- Delaware
- Rhode Island
- Hawaii
- Alaska
- Georgia
- North Dakota
- South Carolina
- Vermont
- Texas
- Connecticut
- Utah
- New Hampshire
- Vermont
- Minnesota.
These are states where BetMGM is not yet available, but the exciting news is that some of the above states have already proposed laws to allow online sports betting.

BetMGM Florida
Florida accepted the first mobile sportsbook app in November 2021. The fun was short-lived, as a judge's ruling shut down the sports betting market. The decision has been appealed, but there is currently no schedule for the hearing.
Hopefully, 2023 will see operators like BetMGM launch when everything has been settled. If it gets a license to operate, BetMGM Florida will likely launch with a welcome bonus. A BetMGM bonus code Florida will also probably be available to trigger this bonus.

The operator is expected to be, alongside Draftkings, Fanduel & Espn Bet, among the first to be regulated in the state of California, but not before 2025.
BetMGM legal countries (outside the US): Canada & UK
Besides the US, BetMGM is legal and operating across other jurisdictions. In April 2022, the BetMGM sportsbook was launched in Canada (Ontario province). Can you play on BetMGM while abroad?
