In this section of my Odds96 review, I have highlighted the top three features of the bookmaker. I found them not only handy and useful extras to have, but they also contributed positively to my overall betting experience.
Detailed Match Tracker
When you select your preferred match from the sportsbook, a virtual match tracker will automatically load to the right of the home page (see screenshot below). I think this is a genuinely helpful feature to have, as it gives you all the data and numbers you need to place live wagers more accurately.
The information is divided into five small clusters: a virtual simulation of the ongoing match, a detailed scorecard, H2H records, team lineups, and current match statistics. Frankly, this is a feature that you expect from the top betting apps only, and if you are somebody who likes to bet in-play occasionally, you will find this very helpful.
Smooth Live Betting
To place in-play bets, go to ‘Categories’ on the Odds96 sportsbook, then tap on ‘Live Events’ to see all the matches happening live at that point. The live betting interface is undoubtedly one of the finest I have come across of late. It’s fast and responsive, taking just 1 second to refresh all the markets as live action keeps unfolding.
Usually, in-play cricket bets are limited to the match-winner market, but Odds96 provides the entire gamut, including niche bets like ‘runs per over’ and ‘economy rate in an over’ for a particular bowler. If you’d rather bet on football, Odds96 has got you covered there as well; you will get 25+ live markets even for domestic competitions like the Indian I-League.
Not to forget, the match tracker and detailed stats prove extremely useful when you’re betting in-play, as you don’t really have to look elsewhere to know what’s happening on the ground.
Full and Partial Cash-Out
Let’s take an example to understand better. Suppose you have staked ₹500 on Liverpool to beat Manchester United. The game is in its last phase, and the Reds are leading 1-0. At this point, the bookmaker will offer you the chance to cash out your bet. Here you have two choices: take the money on offer and cash out prematurely or see the game through.
The only point to remember is that if you cash out, the returns would be less compared to what you’d have gotten if Liverpool closed out the game as the winner.
