Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a Swedish international forward, who is regarded as one of the greatest of his generation. Born on 3 October 1981 in Malmo, Ibrahimovic career began with local outfit Malmo FF before moving to Ajax after three seasons. After the move to the Dutch Eredivisie, Ibrahimovic was responsible for creating a lot of football whispers thanks to a goal every other game for the Dutch outfit. Soon, he was on his way to Italian football with Juventus signing him in 2004.
Ibrahimovic was part of the Juventus team that won the Italian Serie A both occasions but they were revoked following the match fixing scandal. After Juventus’ relegation due to the scandal, Ibrahimovic joined Inter Milan he picked up three successive titles once again. Ibrahimovic was playing some of the best football of his career and he came up with 57 goals in just 88 league games for Inter. Unsurprisingly, these goals brought him to the attention of rumours linking to Barcelona, who had been one of the top teams in world football at that moment. A move to Barcelona came about against the transfer odds.
The move to Camp Nou, though, became an ill-fated one, as Ibrahimovic spent just one season before being loaned back to the Italian Serie A with AC Milan. Still, the Swede managed to score 16 goals in 29 league outings apart from winning the La Liga and FIFA Club World Cup.
After returning to AC Milan, Ibrahimovic helped the club win the Italian Serie A with 14 goals in 29 games. This convinced Milan to make the move permanent, but financial difficulties coupled with transfer rumours from France forced Milan to sell him in the summer of 2012. Ibrahimovic was focused on setting a new record after winning titles in Spain, Italy, and Netherlands. Since making the switch to PSG, Ibrahimovic made sure that he won league titles in every campaign. He ended up leaving PSG with 113 goals from just 122 matches.
After a few small spells with Manchester United and LA Galaxy, Ibrahimovic is back in Italy with AC Milan.
