Yerry Mina

A powerful and uncompromising centre-back, Yerry Mina was born in Guachené, Colombia, on September 23, 1994. Mina was a relatively late starter in professional football and joined first club Deportivo Pasto as an 18-year-old in 2013. From there he played for Santa Fe and Palmeiras before catching the eye of Barcelona. He signed for Los Cules in January 2018, becoming the first Colombian to play for the club.

However, after less than eight months he was on the move again, signing for Everton in a deal worth a huge €30million. A full Colombian international since 2016, Mina scored three times for Los Cafeteros at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
