Teemu Eino Antero Pukki, or commonly called as Teemu Pukki, is a Finnish footballer who plays as a striker for club and country. Pukki was born on 29 March 1990 in the city of Kotka, Finland. His football career began with local club KTP and their U19 team. His professional debut for the club came at just 16 years of age. Soon, a number of transfer rumours surrounding the striker would crop up, as big clubs across Europe were starting to take notice.

Sevilla made an offer of £1.3 million in 2006 to bring the striker who the La Liga. His league debut came in 2009. However, his lack of an impact resulted in Pukki being relegated to the reserves team and being loaned out to other clubs. After a lack of first-team opportunities in just two years, Pukki made a permanent transfer to HJK Helsinki in 2011. His return to the Veikkausliiga brought about much better improvement in performances. In his second season with HJK, Pukki ended up scoring 11 goals in 18 matches to once again initiate football whispers and gossip.

Pukki would go on to pick up the Veikkausliiga and Finnish Cup in 2011. Schalke were the next big club to provide him with the opportunity after signing him in 2011. His first season in the Bundesliga generated five goals in 19 matches. In subsequent campaigns, though, Pukki was unable to keep up the goal tally and his gametime was also substantially reduced as a result. Just like in Spain, his time in Germany also went largely unnoticed despite spending three years at the Veltins Arena.

Celtic were the next club to provide an opportunity for Pukki to impress at the top level. An experienced campaigner and well-travelled player by this time, Pukki had a strong first season at Celtic. He scored seven goals in 25 games and ended up winning the league title. In the subsequent season, though, he once again fell out of favour and made the switch to Brondby, where he spent four seasons in the Danish Superliga.

Pukki returned back to the limelight when he moved to Norwich in 2018. The striker played an influential role in helping the club getting promoted to the Premier League, where he scored 11 goals in 36 games. In just 92 matches for Norwich, Pukki has come up with almost 50 goals.
