Tanguy Ndombele is a French midfielder who plays for Tottenham Hotspur. Born in Longjumeau on December 28, 1996, he moved to Brittany aged 14 to play for Guingamp. However, after three years he left without being offered a professional contract. Amiens picked up Ndombele in 2014 following their relegation out of Ligue 2 into the Championnat National 3 where he played for three seasons before becoming a first-team regular Les Licornes. Loaned to Lyon for the 2017/18 campaign, he impressed sufficiently to earn a full-time switch for just £7.4million. Further impressive displays with OL in 2018/19 caught the eye of Tottenham Hotspur who paid a club-record £55.5million to secure his signature in July 2019.
