Sylvain Armand

Sylvain Armand is a French defender who currently plays for and was born on 1st August 1980. The centre-back would begin his youth career at Saint-Etienne, but joined Clermont in 1999. After just one season he would move to Nantes and play over 100 games for Les Canaris and win the 2001 Ligue 1 title. In his prime he would sign for Paris Saint-Germain and make 285 appearances for the capital side, winning three Coupe de France crowns and the 2013 Ligue 1 championship. He would join Rennes in the summer of 2013 when his contract expired.
