Samir Nasri

Samir Nasri is a French attacking midfielder, born on 26th June 1987, who plays for RSC Anderlecht. Nasri started his senior career with Marseille, where he became an important first team player in the 2004-05 season. Having been scouted by many of Europe’s biggest clubs, the Frenchman signed for Arsenal in July 2008. The 2010-11 season was Nasri’s best in an Arsenal shirt and he was rewarded with a move to Manchester City in August 2011. During his first campaign with Manchester City, Nasri won the Premier League title. However, inconsistent form saw the Frenchman go in and out of the team throughout the following seasons, including the title-winning 2013-14 campaign. The midfielder featured for every French youth age group, before making his debut for the senior team in March 2008.
