Marcos “Rony” Lopes is a Portuguese midfielder who plays for Sevilla. He was born in Belem, Brazil on 28th December 1995, moving to Portugal at the age of four. He joined Benfica when he was 10 years old and signed for Manchester City's youth set-up in 2011. After making his debut as a substitute against Watford in the FA Cup, he would score the third in a 3-0 win. He was loaned to Lille OSC in 2014, scoring three goals and adding two assists. Injuries hampered his spell at the club, but didn't stop Monaco spending £9 million for the attacking midfielder. Another loan spell to Lille followed in January and he would agree to spend the 2016/17 campaign at Les Dogues, his third loan spell at the club.
