Ragnar Klavan is an Estonian centre-back who plays for Cagliari. Born on October 30, 1985 in Viljandi, Estonia, his football career started with Elva before moving to Tulevik and Flora. In 2005 he joined Dutch side Heracles, making 95 appearances before moving to AZ. In 2009 Klavan became the first Estonian to play in the Champions League. His next move was to German side Augsburg where he spent four years before joining English side Liverpool in 2016.
