Maximiliano Caire

Maximiliano Caire is an Argentine left back, born on the 12th July 1988, who plays for Gimnasia La Plata. He started out at Argentine lower division club Almagro in 2007, and moved on a twelve-month loan to Gimnàstic de Tarragona of the Spanish second division in 2008. On returning to Argentina, he moved to top flight club Colón de Santa Fe, where he remained for five years, becoming an important player, before leaving in 2014 after the club failed to pay various first team players’ wages for several months. He played for Patronato in the B Nacional (second division) and Sarmiento in the Primera, before moving on a free transfer to Vélez Sarsfield in July 2016.
