Lucas Perez is a Spanish striker who plays for Premier League club Arsenal.
Born in the northern city of A Coruna, Perez began his career in the Spanish capital with Atletico Madrid but joined Rayo Vallecano in 2009. He spent two and a half years with Rayo before moving to Ukraine to play for Karpaty Lviv and, latterly, Dynamo Kyiv. Perez switched to Greek side PAOK in 2013 but spent just one season with the club before moving to hometown side Deportivo la Coruna on loan for the 2014/15 campaign.
He signed with Depor permanently in the summer of 2015 and struck 17 LaLiga goals in 36 matches. That form alerted Arsenal who spent £17million to bring Perez to the Emirates in August 2017.
His opportunities under Arsene Wenger were, however, limited. Perez made just ten starts, although he struck seven times for the Gunners.
