James Tavernier

James Tavernier is an English right-back who plays for Rangers. He began his career at Newcastle United as a youth, making two appearances for the side in a five-year spell. He was sent on loan to Gateshead, Carlisle United, Sheffield Wednesday, MK Dons, Shrewsbury Town and Rotherham United respectively on loan, and signed for Wigan in 2014. A further loan to Bristol City eschewed, where he won League One in 2014/15. Tavernier joined Rangers a year later, and won the double in his first season.
