Jackson Martínez

Jackson Martinez is a Colombian striker, born on 3rd October 1986, who plays for Portimonense. Having started his professional career in his home country, Martinez eventually moved to play in Mexico with Chiapas where he remained until July 2012. In 2012, Martinez moved to FC Porto, where he was a regular goal scorer and attracted interest from many of Europe’s biggest clubs. Having spent a prolific three seasons with the Portuguese side, Martinez moved to Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015. A disappointing start to his career with the Spanish side saw the Colombian join Guangzhou Evergrande on 3rd February 2016.
