Ibrahim Amadou

Ibrahim Amadou is a Cameroonian midfielder who plays for Leganés. He was born on 7th April 1993 and is able to play as both a defensive midfielder and a centre-back. He arrived in France when he was just four and played for a number of local clubs. He joined AS Nancy in 2011, making his debut in 2013, playing just one minute in a 2-1 win over Brest. Amadou would feature 56 times over two seasons before moving to Lille in 2015. After a shaky start, making his debut in the opening day against Paris Saint-Germain, he went on to have an excellent season. He admitted in October 2016 that Schalke were interested in spending €10 million for him in the summer.
