Francois Kamano is a Guinean forward who currently plays for Bordeaux. Adept at playing all across the attacking positions in midfield, or as a centre-forward. After trials at AIK Solna, Villarreal and Rennes, he signed a four-year deal for SC Bastia in 2014. He would make his debut for the islanders, as a substitute against Marseille in the opening game of the season. In 2015, he rejected a chance to go to the Africa Cup of Nations with Guinea to stay and help Bastia fight for their place in Ligue 1, and was rewarded with a place in the Coupe de la Ligue. In the summer of 2016 he completed a €2.5 million move to Bordeaux.
