Fernando Elizari

Fernando Elizari is an Argentine playmaker who plays for Unión Santa Fe. He was born on the 5th April 1991, and is a cousin of former Argentina internationals Diego and Gabriel Milito. Elizari played youth football for Quilmes, debuting for the first team in 2010, and after a year on loan at Indepediente during which he failed to make the first team, he returned to Quilmes in September 2012. In July 2013, he was given a free transfer to San Lorenzo, where he was a squad member (and occasional substitute) for the team which lifted San Lorenzo’s first Copa Libertadores in 2014. For 2014-15, he was loaned to Chile’s O’Higgins, and he was against sent on loan – back to Quilmes – for the first half of 2016, before being loaned to Defensa y Justicia for the 2016-17 season.
