Declan Rice is an English centre-back who plays for West Ham United. He was born on January 14, 1999. Despite being from London, Rice represented the Republic of Ireland at under-21 level, but decided his senior international career lay with the country of his birth. He started his football career at Chelsea before moving to West Ham in 2014. Rice made his senior debut for the Hammers at the end of the 2016/17 season away at Burnley, coming on as a substitute in stoppage time.
