Chris Hussey

Chris Hussey is an English left-sided defender who currently plays for Cheltenham Town. Born on 2nd January 1989, in Hammersmith, London, Hussey began his career in Non-League football in the academy at National League side Woking before joining AFC Wimbledon in 2008, where he was at the club during their promotion from the Ryman League (tier seven) to the National League South. A Football League breakthrough came when Coventry City bought the attacking full-back – Hussey would go on to make more than 50 appearances for the Sky Blues across the Championship and League One. He returned to Wimbledon in League Two during the 2012/13, before spells at Bury and Burton Albion; he would play for the latter in the 2013/14 League Two play-off final defeat to Fleetwood Town.
