Bradley Wright-Phillips

Bradley Wright-Phillips is an English striker who was born on March 12 1985 and plays for New York Red Bulls. After growing up in Manchester City’s youth system, Wright-Phillips signed with the senior side in 2004. Following his 32 appearances for the club, he was sold to Southampton for £500,000 in 2006. From 2006 to 2009, he made 111 appearances for the Saints scoring 22 goals. In 2009, he was released by Southampton and was subsequently signed by Plymouth Argyle. After a successful few seasons there, he was transferred to League One side Charlton Athletic. Wright-Phillips would stay with the side until 2013 making 82 appearances and scoring 31 goals before joining Brentford on loan. Following his loan spell with Brentford, he signed with the New York Red Bulls in 2013.
