Asmir Begovic

Asmir Begovic is a Bosnian goalkeeper who plays for Milan. Born in June 1987, Begovic started his professional career with Portsmouth, before transferring to Stoke City as backup to Thomas Sorensen in 2010. Quickly, Begovic became first choice at Stoke and spent five years at the Potters. He then moved to Chelsea in the summer of 2015 for around £8 million and spent the majority of 2015-16 as backup to Thibaut Courtois. Although he played youth football for Canada, Begovic opted to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at full international level.
